No matter what type of adventure you desire; the level of activity you are comfortable with; or the individual interest you may have; you can find the right thing to do in the Black Hills region of South Dakota.

If you are interested in the Old West, there are old western towns you can tour and an 1880 train you can ride. If you prefer museums, you can wander through several – a wax museum, a mammoth museum, a reptile center, and various heritage museums. Of course, there is the famed Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse Memorial.

If outdoor adventure is more to your liking, you can enjoy several large caves/caverns, take a ride on a tram, or spend the day hiking through the scenic area. The area is home to a variety of wildlife and some of the most majestic lakes and mountains in the west.
