Bighorn Mountains
Covering more than a million acres of diverse landscapes within southern Montana and northern Wyoming, the Bighorn Mountain Range is full of campgrounds and hiking trails, featuring Cloud Peak Wilderness and Medicine Wheel.

Casper, Wyoming
Located off Interstate-25, along the banks of the North Platte River, Casper is a large western town offering an assortment of activities and attractions including an active downtown with great restaurants, shops, and art galleries. Fish or float the North Platte, catch a symphony performance, or visit Casper College.

Little Bighorn
Little Bighorn Battlefield is the site of the 1876 clash between Custer's 7th Cavalry and Lakota Sioux, Cheyenne and Arapahoe tribes. Situated east of I-90 and south of Hwy 212 in Crow Agency, MT, visitors may tour the national monument, museum and burial grounds.

Wall Drug, SD
Wall Drug is a roadside attraction located off exits 109 and 110 of Interstate-90 in Wall, South Dakota. This 76,000 square foot drug store sells everything from bobble heads to jackalopes. Be sure to pick up an infamous, “Where the heck is Wall Drug?” bumper sticker.

Billings, MT
Billings, Montana is a great place to begin your western adventures. As the largest city in Montana, Billings features an international airport, entertainment venues, sporting arenas, museums and galleries, an historic downtown, and plenty of guided tours high-lighting the region’s history and culture.

Gillette, WY
Situated in northeast Wyoming, Gillette has been referred to as the “Energy Capital of the Nation,” producing large quantities oil, coal, and coal bed methane. Visit the Rockpile Museum, take a coal mine tour, or book a big-game hunting trip with an area outfitter.

Corn Palace
Located in Mitchell, South Dakota, Corn Palace is a large multi-use facility that hosts regional shows and sporting events. Visitors may tour the facility, purchase merchandise, book tickets for upcoming events, or attend the annual Corn Palace Festival and enjoy entertainment provided by top musicians.

Yellowstone Park
Yellowstone National Park draws thousands of visitors to its diverse landscape every year. Located in southwestern Montana, northwestern Wyoming and eastern Idaho, Yellowstone is full of natural wonders and a range of wildlife species including grizzly bears, moose, and wolves. Visit Mammoth Hot Springs, Old Faithful, the Lamar Valley, and then indulge in a guided tour, day hike, or backpacking adventure.

Buffalo, WY

Teton Park
Experience dramatic alpine peaks when you visit Teton National Park. Skiing and rock climbing are popular activities, as well camping, horseback riding,and rafting and fishing on the Snake River. Tuckered out from all the fresh air? Take the short drive to Jackson Hole for town-based entertainment and amenities.

Sioux Falls, SD
Sioux Falls is the largest city in South Dakota, located on the state’s eastern border at the junction of I-90 and I-29. Check out scenic Falls Park, visit the USS South Dakota Battleship Memorial, view historical exhibits in the Old Courthouse Museum, or spend an afternoon close to nature at The Outdoor Campus.
