South Dakota Air & Space Museum
If you get a thrill from being around historic bombers and fighter jets, the South Dakota Air and Space Museum is the place for you. Come take a look at over 25 aircrafts including attack, basic trainers, helicopters, observation, and liaison vessels.
The museum is home to many antique aircrafts that were used in World War II as well as a plethora of memorabilia. The museum is located 7 miles east of Rapid City just next to the Ellsworth Air Force Base, exit 67 from Interstate 90. Visit the museum year round for free.
