Sturgis Motorcycle Museum

Thousands travel from all over the states to visit Sturgis in the middle of August, the 8th to the 14th, every year when they enjoy a week visiting with friends, showing off their bikes, and cruising along nearby winding and scenic roads.

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame was created to display some of the historic bikes and collectables that come through the area. It shares the history of how the event started and why the area continues to lure motorcyclists year after year. Enjoy viewing domestic and international models of bikes, everything from the 1905 Excelsior to custom Harley bikes of today. There is quite a collection of photos and paraphernalia as well. Visit the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum on the corner of Main Street and Junction Ave in downtown Sturgis. It is open during summer months from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday and 9am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. It is open every day from 10am to 3pm during the winter.
