Nightlife
When taking a vacation in the Black Hills region of South Dakota, you will find numerous things to see and do. Moreover, after an exciting, adventurous day, there are many opportunities to enjoy a variety of nightlife. The lively nighttime entertainment includes live music, dancing, karaoke, pool, foosball, gambling, fine dining, and darts.
Just because the sun goes down is no reason to stop having tons of fun in the Black Hills. After a hike in the woods, or a mountain bike ride on a backcountry trail, or a fast and furious ride on many of the areas attractions, plan on having a great time enjoying the nightlife of the area.
Many of the local towns come alive after dark and offer a variety of live music including country, folk, rock, jazz, and blues. You can "shake your bootie" at any number of taverns, bars or clubs. For a taste of the western flare so popular in the area, try dancing in some of the square-dance halls. If you'd rather sing than listen to the music, check out the opportunities for karaoke. In addition, the casinos in Deadwood offer gaming, dining, and live entertainment. A chuckwagon meal can include a comedian and a singer.
If you thought that the livelier characters that once inhabited the Black Hills have long since gone, just check out the local nightlife and you will see that they are still around. Come join in on the fun!
