There are many places to temporarily call home while you visit Deadwood and surrounding Black Hills. Chose from lodging accommodations like bed and breakfasts, hotels, motels, resorts, cabins, condos, and campgrounds.

Hotels and motels offer amenities like pools and hot tubs, cable TV, exercise facilities, and are typically centrally located so that you can walk to nearby restaurants and shops. Some of the older hotels are located downtown in restored historic landmarks. B&B's are great if you are a traveling couple or with a smaller group. The breakfasts are exceptional and the hospitality is fantastic. You will feel right at home in one of these cozy and welcoming houses. Rent a private cabin or stay in one of the many lodges a bit off the beaten path. Lodges offer all the amenities of a large hotel as well as great views and access to trails and outdoor adventures. If you can't get enough of the outdoors, you should consider staying in one of the local campgrounds. Many have full service amenities like RV hook-ups, laundry facilities, showers, not to mention incredible views of the Black Hills.

Deadwood, South Dakota is located at the intersection of Highways 85 and 14A. Hwy 85 north eventually runs into Interstate 90. Follow Hwy 385 south east to reach Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial.
