What event suits your fancy? In the Black Hills region of South Dakota, there are a multitude of events and activities – virtually something for everyone. If you want to sky dive, hang glide, parasail, ride in a hot air balloon, and travel by dog sled, ski, snowmobile, taste wine, enjoy a festival, catch a play, or just relax and listen to music, you can find the activity to fit your taste any time of year in the beautiful Black Hills.
If you want to pack as much fun as possible into 4-6 weeks, then you may want to travel to the Black Hills in September through the first part of October to enjoy all the celebrations and festivals that make up the Black Hills Autumn Expedition. But, no matter what month, what season, what time of day, there is always something fun and interesting going on. The difficult part is trying to figure out where to begin.
